Tickets must be purchased in advance!  Guests are very welcome - bring your friends.

WORKING PARTIES

The last two weekends of March - 17th/18th and 24th/25th - will, as usual, be devoted to Working Parties to get the Club ready for the start of the new sailing season on 31st March.

The list of jobs is already being compiled and there will be plenty for everybody to do, so please put these dates in your diary and make every effort to come along and help on at least one of the weekends.

"WHITEBOARD" TRAINING SESSIONS

Throughout the winter and into next year's sailing season "Whiteboard" Training Sessions will be held in the clubhouse on Wednesday evenings.  These will start at 7:30pm and finish at around 9pm so that the participants can then join in with the Wednesday evening social sessions.

These training sessions are intended for beginners and improvers. Topics covered will include the Five Essentials of Sailing, the basic Racing Rules, Race Management, sailing videos and much, much more.

On-the-water Sailing Training sessions will resume in April 2012.

NEW MEMBERS' FEEDBACK SESSION 2011

Thank you to everybody who came to this - a very useful session!

Have you joined the Club in the last 18 months?  If so, the management committee would like to hear from you.

As you are probably aware, this has been a remarkable year for the Club with a record increase in membership and we soon realised that procedures that previously worked well with just a handful of new members needed to be adjusted to cope with several dozen new members!

To enable us to further develop our procedures and ensure that the new members from this year and from future years have the best possible experience, we would be really grateful if you could let us have some feedback along the lines of:

     - What did we do right?

     - What did we do wrong?

     - What could we improve?

     - What else should we be doing?

We would therefore like to invite you to come to the Club at 7:30pm on Wednesday 14th December 2011 for a “feedback session”.  Soft drinks and nibbles will be provided and our usual low-cost bar will of course be open.

If you are able to come please email to: general.secretary@ulleysailingclub.org.uk

If you are not able to come, please give your comments to any committee member or complete and return the form that you received along with the AGM notification letter.
