CLASSES OF MEMBERSHIP

The rights and privileges of each category of membership are as follows:

Full:               £68 per year + one-off £30 joining fee 

A person who, at the start of the membership year, is over the age of eighteen.

A Full member has one vote and has the full use of all the Club facilities.

Family:*        £90 per year + one-off £30 joining fee 

All members of a family unit, including any children under eighteen years of age at the start of the membership year or in full-time education.

The Family unit has one vote, exercisable by an adult member and has full use of all the Club facilities.

Student:*      £32 per year 

A person who, at the start of the membership year, is under the age of eighteen or is in full-time education.

A Student member has full use of all the Club facilities and has one vote if over eighteen years of age.

Crew:*           £32 per year + one-off £30 joining fee 

A Crew member cannot bring any boat to the station, nor are they entitled to a result in any Club race when helming a boat.

A Crew member has full use of all the Club facilities and has one vote if over eighteen years of age.

Associate:    £32 per year 

All classes of membership include Associate membership for a spouse / partner. 

Otherwise, Associate membership is only available to a person who has previously been a member of the Club for at least one calendar year.

An Associate member cannot bring any boat to the station, nor are they entitled to sail in any Club event, except as an Open Meeting competitor.

An Associate member has no vote but has the full use of the clubhouse facilities.

*  Parents or guardians are responsible for the conduct and safety of their children at all times when at the club.  No person under the age of 16 years is allowed at the club unless accompanied by a parent or a guardian or somebody who has agreed to act “in loco parentis”.
